May 31, 2017 WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. House intelligence committee was expected to issue subpoenas on Wednesday to President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser and his personal lawyer in connection with its probe of Russian meddling in the U.S. presidential election, sources familiar with the matter said. One National Guardsman Killed and Three Hurt During Training Exercise in California

A Mississippi National Guardsman dies during what is being described as a “large-scale training exercise” involving a rolled over tank. It happened Wednesday at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California. Officials say Sergeant Kyle Thomas was among four soldiers conducting maneuver operations in a tank when it rolled over. Three-other members were injured during the exercise, but are expected to survive. The four Guardsmen of the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team were participating in a two-week training program focused on maneuvering tanks.
